The lines. The light. But also the story. I first encountered Pen-Bay Tractor just outside Belfast which is on the Penobscot Bay. It was a small tractor repair shop. I don’t remember when but one day it closed and popped up clear on the other side of the county on a state road. Just the sign. There was no evidence of tractor repair but there were goats out next to the barn. A few years ago a new iteration of wPen-Bay tractor showed up down the road on the other side selling tractors and then milk trucks started showing up sometimes five or six parked there. The imagination wonders. I think it is the next generation. The old barn still has the original sign. It is a particularly nice barn.
